Blue Goo Ate My Mom

(x) Smoked a cigarette. Yes. Typically while intoxicated. I never made a habit of it.
( ) Crashed a friend’s car. Nope.
( ) Stolen a car. Nope.
(x) Been in love. Yes and still am.
(x) Been dumped. I have, though the real question is were we going out in the first place. That was never defined.
(x) Shoplifted. I believe it was a piece of candy when I was 5 or 6.
( ) Been fired. No. I'm a good employee.
( ) Been in a fist fight. No. I tend to hang out with people who would rather talk then fight.
( ) Snuck out of your parent’s house. I don't think I ever did. Never had the need to.
(x) Had feelings for someone who didn’t have them back. Everybody has had some form of unrequited love at some point in their life.
( ) Been arrested. I'm a lawful citizen :)
( ) Gone on a blind date. I don't think I could do the blind date thing. Hell I can barely do the real date thing.
(x) Lied to a friend. Never to be malicious. Though that would have been ages ago.
( ) Skipped school. I never saw the need to skip school. I'd just have to catch up on the work anyways. I did "skip" a couple of classes in my later years, since we were allowed to sign ourselves out of school at that point, so it really wasn't skipping.
( ) Seen someone die. I've seen someone dying, but not the actual death. We knew my grandmother wasn't going to make it when we visited the hospital.
(x) Been to Canada. Hell yes. I live here.

(x) Been on a plane. Several times. Two times to Europe, one to Indianapolis, one to Edmonton, and a couple times in my cousins little Cessna.
(x) Set a part of yourself on fire. I didn't actually do it. A friend of mine flicked his lighter by my head and lit a little bit of my hair on fair.
(x) Been skiing. I tried snow skiing for about 5 minutes before heading to the chalet to drink hot chocolate (in Grade 7 or 8). I've tried water skiing and after receiving several water enemas decided it was time to give up.
(x) Met someone from the Internet. I met my wife, Firda, on the internet and then in real life.
(x) Been to a concert. If you haven't been to a concert, what the heck is wrong with you?
(x) Taken painkillers. Tylenol 3 when I had one of my wisdom teeth pulled.
(x) Love someone or miss someone right now. Yes. My grandparents, my next door neighbour in Cambridge, my dog Daisy, my cat Tipsey, our fish Finney. My friends Kaley and Nasser in England. Among many others I love and miss.
(x) Laid on your back and watched cloud shapes go by. Yup. While Firda took pictures :)
(x) Made a snow angel. I actually think this is a "rite of passage" in Canada.
(x) Had a tea party, pretend or otherwise. At a real party we attempted to recreate scenes from Alice in Wonderland. The tea party was one such scene. Though I wasn't drinking tea. I don't like tea.
(x) Flown a kite. I haven't done it in ages though.
(x) Built a sand castle. Yup.
(x) Gone puddle jumping. Only when I'm wearing my boots. Though I do like slush pile jumping in the winter.
(x) Played dress up. My friends and I once had a cross-dressing party. Actually I think it was the Chili and Cross-Dressing party. Pictures exist. Future blackmail fodder.
(x) Jumped into a pile of leaves. Indeed.
(x) Gone sledding. Once again I live in Canada.
(x) Cheated while playing a game. I'm sure I have. Not recently though.
(x) Been lonely. Who hasn't? It passes. I'm not lonely any longer.
( ) Fallen asleep at work/school. I've been close but never actually fallen asleep.
( ) Used a fake ID. I used someone elses ID to get into a folk festival to see Moxy Fruvous. They weren't using it that day. The show was pretty good, and fun.
(x) Watched the sun set. Everytime we go to the cottage. Beautiful sunsets.
(x) Felt an earthquake. I believe I have. We get tiny earth tremors in Ontario from time to time. I believe there is a fault line that goes through Quebec.
(x) Slept beneath the stars. In a tent? Yes. Outside on the grass? No.
(x) Been tickled. Every night before going to bed. At least Firda attempts to tickle me.
( ) Been robbed. Nope. Someone tried to in Amsterdam, on the busiest street in the town. He didn't get any of my money.
(x) Been misunderstood. All the time.
(x) Petted a reindeer/goat/kangaroo OR jackalope. Reindeer at Marineland in Niagara Falls and a goat several times.
(x) Won a contest. Most recently I won a free t-shirt during the 2nd Anniversary Blogography contest.
(x) Run a red light/stop sign. By accident. I always feel like such an idiot after doing that.
( ) Been suspended from school. Nope. I was a good student.
(x) Been in a car crash?. Two. One at an intersection, where my friend T-boned another car because he didn't see the stop sign (we were looking for a street name). No one was hirt. The second one was coming back from Toronto after seeing They Might Be Giants. A vehicle in the fast lane drifted into out lane, hit the vehicle I was in, which caused is to do a 180 degree flip, slam up against the median and slide along it for about 10 meters. The other vehicle went into the ditch on the other side of the road. No one was hurt.
( ) Had braces. My teeth aren't perfect but they aren't horrid either.
(x) Felt like an outcast/third person? Especially when hanging out with a group of friends who all had significant others.
( ) Eaten a whole pint of ice cream in one night. Can't say I have, though I probably could.
(x) Had deja vu. Many many many times.

(x) Witnessed a crime. Everyone does, likely every day. Speeding in traffic (which is still a crime, though everyone does it).

(x) Squished mud through your bare feet. Ah yes. Clay is especially nice.
(x) Been lost. Unintentional and intentional. Depending on the situation I get kind of Zen when I get lost, unless I'm trying to get someone urgently.
(x) Been on the opposite side of the country. Not all the way but Nelson, B.C. is pretty close.
(x) Swam in the ocean. Yup. Kind of freaks me out though.

(x) Paid for a meal with only coins. Depends what you define as a meal. Besides it's not that difficult in Canada, what with the loonie (1 dollar) and toonie (2 dollar) coins.

(x) Made prank phone calls. Ah the good old high school sleepovers.
( ) Laughed until some kind of beverage came out of your nose? I laugh, but I can control my laughter.

(x) Danced in the rain. I know I have. Probably while singing "Singing in the Rain".

(x) Watched the sun rise with someone you care about. Yes and No. I went out on the lake before sun rise to retrieve a canoe that someone had forgot to tie up the night before. Firda waited on the dock for me. The sun rose while I was bringing the boat back. We went to bed after that.

(x) Made a bonfire on the beach, at the lake. We have a fire pit at the cottage. I wouldn't necessarily call it a bonfire.
